The next generation for electric vehicle energy storage will be presented and discussed at the Energy Storage Solutions 2009 conference in London next week. As an official Media Partner cars21.com will report live from the event and keep you up to date on current energy storage research projects, technology providers and emerging technologies for electric vehicles.
New Energy Storage Solutions to realise full EV potential
Energy Storage Solutions 2009, 8-9 Dec, London

The two-day event will start Tuesday, 8 December and will focus on how to utilise energy storage to fully realise the potential of renewable energies and electric vehicles. Besides the incorporation of renewable energy into the grid the key topic is the advancement of energy storage for electric and hybrid electric vehicles. The London event aims to bring together these two industries to drive investment and development in the market.

At the Energy Storage Solutions 2009 updates on current energy storage research projects and emerging technologies will be presented as well as the latest updates to policy and legislation and international case studies on new energy storage trials.

Some of the agenda highlights:

Technical Round table discussion session Wednesday, 9 December: Evaluating the latest battery storage technologies in terms of cost, lifecycles, safety and potential applications:
