You must be a registered member of the cars21.com community to use all its services and build your contact network. Registration is easy and free. The following steps help you to fill in all fields required:

• Field 1: Select your Title (Mr, Ms, Mrs, Dr) from the scroll menu. This will help enable other members to identify your gender and acknowledge your professional title.
  
  
• Fields 2-3: Enter your First Name and your Last Name. This helps others to find you through the members search. Your name will appear on your public profile.
  
  
• Field 4: Enter a valid Email Address that will be used to send you your registration confirmation and any future communications from the cars21.com community. Your email address will not be visible to other members. Make sure you check the spelling so that your confirmation emails and messages from other members reach you. Check your spam filter for cars21.com messages, and add cars21.com to your list of allowed senders.
  
  
• Field 5-6: Enter a Password you will use to login to the cars21.com community. Choose a password that is easy to remember for you but that is not too obvious for others, to avoid abuse of your account. Do not share your password with others. Confirm your password in field 6. Only if the two passwords match we can process your registration.
  
  
• Fields 7-8: Enter a valid Telephone number and Mobile number, including international dial code.
  
  
• Field 9: Click on "Browse" to search for an upload a Photo to your member profile. This photo or icon will be visible to all users of the cars21.com community.
  
  
• Fields 10: Select from the scroll menu the option that best describes the type of organisation you are active for. In the second field, enter the name of the Organisation you work for at the moment. If you are a student, enter your university. If you are unemployed or self-employed, please leave this field open.
  
  
• Field 11: Select from the scroll menu the option that best describes the type of activity you perform or you are responsible for. In the second field, enter your exact Job Title so that others can find you through the members search.
  
  
• Field 12: Indicate the Location of your work or residence. This is important to connect members via the geographic location and a prerequisite to show you on the global members map.
  
  
• Fields 13-14: Enter the start and end date of your most recent work, studies, or other activities. If the activity is still ongoing, please select the "current position" option after entering the start date.
  
  
• Field 15: Enter a professional Website that is connected to your business or research activities. This website will be visible to other cars21.com users.
  
  
• Field 16: Give a Brief Description of your person, your activities, and/or your organisation. Be as specific and concise as possible to enable other members to identify your main interests and expertise. You can change this description at any time in your profile settings.
  
  
• Field 17: Indicate up to 5 different Topics of Interest. This will be used for the search function and enables us to match like-minded members, and suggest new interesting contacts to you.
  
  
• Please accept the Terms & Conditions, and the Community Guidelines. Once you have filled in all required fields, press the "register now" button and you will be sent a confirmation email to the address you indicated.
